It is located on the 2nd floor from the side of the central entrance of the spectators in the area of cloakrooms and escalators. The café is designed for 100 seats in the hall and is equipped with comfortable tables and chairs for visitors in a single stylistic solution (custom design). The kitchen can operate in a full cycle. All necessary rooms are provided for this: loading; storage with medium-temperature and low-temperature chambers (in the basement); workshops for preparing hot dishes. There is kitchen equipment and dishwashers.
The interior of the hall is made in the general style of the Palace design, and the stained-glass glazing provides a panoramic view of the adjacent territory of the facility and the roadway of Universiade Street. The end wall with the effect of water flowing down it gives airiness to the interior of the café.
They are located in the places where spectators exit to stands 2 and 3 (on both sides) and are intended to serve the maximum number of visitors to the Palace during major sports and entertainment events. The buffets are divided into stationary (2nd floor) and dedicated areas (3rd floor), where, if necessary, food zones can be designated. The buffets are equipped with the necessary utilities and technological equipment. The main assortment is baked goods and confectionery, as well as semi-finished products of a high degree of readiness. For the convenience of spectators, there are soft sofas and small tables in the foyer areas.
The block of rooms is located on the 1st floor in the central entrance area, taking into account the immediate proximity to the conference hall. On the days of major events, this room usually serves media representatives or organizers. The rest of the time, due to the proximity to the training pool and being in the main traffic area, it is possible to serve daily clients of the pool.
All functional possibilities for the comfortable stay of the press bar guests have been thought out. Convenient serving areas, tables and chairs. The room is equipped with the necessary equipment for placing and storing a range of confectionery and culinary products, preparing hot drinks. The interior design is designed in conjunction with the cafe dining room on the 2nd floor. A special feature are the ceiling pendant lights made in the form of water drops.
The Palace's changing rooms are equipped with dry steam saunas heated by electric stoves. They are controlled (turned on) from a remote panel in the changing rooms. The equipment turns off automatically after a certain period of time. The interior finish of the sauna, the canopy, and the flooring are made of wood. The area around the electric stove is clad with large-format porcelain stoneware with a non-combustible material gasket. The lighting in the sauna is soft. The canopy lighting creates a special atmosphere. To ensure fire safety and prevent overheating, the saunas are equipped with a fire extinguishing system.
The saunas are located in the changing rooms:
• training pool: 4 changing rooms
• demonstration pool: 6 changing rooms (4 for athletes, 2 for judges)
• diving pool: 2 changing rooms for athletes
