August 31st — Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals

On August 31, 2025, the Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals will take place at the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after V. V. Mayakovsky in Yekaterinburg.

The additional theme of the celebration in 2025 is the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The event program includes:

• An official part with speeches from the top officials of Sverdlovsk Region and the awarding of the most distinguished representatives of national and cultural public organizations;

• The work of national courtyards, where household items, decorative and applied arts, costumes, and other national attributes will be presented;

• A festive concert with performances by professional creative groups and amateur groups of national and cultural organizations of Sverdlovsk Region;

• The work of interactive areas with craftsmen of folk traditional crafts and decorative arts, including children's play areas, workshops, and entertainment activities.

The event runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The opening ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM.
