Russian and Ural Federal District Championship – Results of the First Day of the Competition!

The Russian and Ural Federal District Swimming Championship has started at the Aquatics Palace. More than 500 of the strongest athletes are competing for medals.

On the first day of the competition, athletes from the A.V. Popov Sports School became medalists in their races!

In the butterfly discipline, in the 200-meter distance, Denis Gimaltdinov won the silver medal in the men's category. Among women, Aleksandra Klishina also took the second place on the podium, while Arina Murzina won the bronze medal.

Anna Teleyaeva became the bronze medalist in the 4×50 meters freestyle mixed relay.

The awards were presented by four-time Olympic champion, six-time world champion, and 21-time European champion in swimming Alexander Popov.
