The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship, which brought together the strongest swimmers from all over the country, has come to an end in Kazan. At this crucial start, the Sverdlovsk region and our sports school were honorably represented by the pupils of the A.V. Popov Secondary School, showing bright results and a real will to win.

Our athletes demonstrated high class and confident fighting at the most competitive distances. Better results:

Dmitry Konyshev's triumph became the central event of the championship for our school! In the 100 and 200 meters backstroke, Dmitry showed good results of 55.88 and 2:01.88 seconds, respectively, meeting the standard of the Master of Sports of Russia. This long—awaited success is the natural result of his dedication, dedication and brilliant physical form.

Our swimmers also performed well in team competitions. The Sverdlovsk Region national team, with the participation of Elizaveta Egorova, successfully overcame the preliminary stage and competed in the finals of two prestigious relay races: the mixed 4×100 m integrated swimming and the women's 4×200 m freestyle, becoming one of the eight strongest Russian teams in these disciplines.

The Palace of Water Sports wholeheartedly congratulates the athletes on their worthy performance at the All-Russian arena! We are proud of your dedication, determination and dedication to the sport. Special thanks to the coaching staff — Alexey Vladimirovich Egorov, Evgeny Andreevich Davydov and Sergey Dmitrievich Silin — for their professionalism and ability to prepare champions!
