Yekaterinburg will host the Russian Men's Boxing Championship

From August 15 to 23, Yekaterinburg will become the capital of Russian boxing: the Russian Men's Boxing Championship will be held in the city.

More than 300 of the best athletes from more than 60 regions of the country will meet in the Ural ring to compete for the title of the best. The championship will be dedicated to the memory of Marshal of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov, as well as to the Year of the Fatherland Defender and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The championship will take place in the Palace of Game Sports.

During the competition days, residents and guests of the Ural capital can expect not only exciting and beautiful fights, but also many additional events. The entertainment program at the championship will include a multimedia show, performances by a military band, an exhibition of military equipment, as well as workshops and sports activities.

The opening ceremony will take place on August 15 at 4 p.m.
