The traditional International swimming competition "Vladimir Salnikov Cup" was held in St. Petersburg.

From December 19 to December 21, the best athletes from Russia and foreign countries competed for 41 sets of awards, set three world youth records, five Russian youth records and one Vladimir Salnikov Cup record.

In the final 200-meter backstroke, Elizaveta Egorova, a pupil of the Alexander Popov Sports School, showed an excellent result: 2:11.91!
