3rd Russian art prize "We firmly believe in the heroes of sports"

With the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the 3rd Russian art prize "We firmly believe in the Heroes of Sports", dedicated to the exploits of outstanding athletes, will be held.

One of the key objectives of the Award is to discover new talents, as well as the opportunity to take a fresh look at the great achievements in the sports history. Participants can submit their creative works in one of six nominations: "Painting", "Sculpture", "Artistic Photography", "Song", "Poetry", "Prose". By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, 2025 was declared the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. Consequentlyas part of the Award program, all participants will have the opportunity to learn 50 historical facts about athletes, who not only achieved high results in sports arenas and championships, but also devoted part of their lives to defending their Homeland. This year's creative works should be based on the stories of hero athletes who went through the Great Patriotic War and took part in a special military operation.

Stages of the Award:
- from July 7 to October 20, 2025, there will be a qualifying round, where 3-5 laureates will be determined in each nomination;
- from October 20 to October 27, 2025 — the jury selects one winner in each nomination via the closed voting;
- October 28, 2025 - publication of the results;
- December 10, 2025 - the winners will be awarded at a gala concert at the Irina Viner Gymnastics Palace.
