Since January 1, 2024 the institution implements additional educational programs of sports training in aquatic sports: “Swimming”, “Synchronized swimming”, “Diving”. Within the framework of educational activities the following stages of sports training are realized: initial training stage, training stage and sportsmanship improvement stage. All conditions for quality training of high-class athletes under the guidance of highly qualified coaches-teachers are created in the institution. Students have the opportunity to develop skills in general and special physical training in the daily training process, thus laying a solid foundation for future victories.
In 2025, the Aquatics Palace opened the Center for Early Physical Development of Children and organized classes in the sport of “swimming” for children from 5 to 8 years old.
Today, the Aquatics Palace has the most modern material and technical base for training athletes in aquatic sports for the Sverdlovsk Region. The institution plans to develop these Olympic sports not only within our region, but also to include athletes in the sports teams of the Russian Federation, as well as to achieve high results at the international level.
Our unique sports facility meets the highest standards for conducting not only training process, but also competitions of any level. Therefore, it is of interest to the widest audience with the opportunity to use advanced technologies to achieve high sports results.

The number of students of SAAEI Sverdlovsk Region "AP" in the implemented additional educational programs of sports training at the expense of budget allocations for the 2025 academic and training year is 464 people, of which:
- swimming - 274 people;
- diving - 132 people;
- synchronized swimming - 58 people.
