10 medals at city swimming competitions

From November 6-7, the Yunost swimming pool (Yekaterinburg) hosted a city swimming competition dedicated to National Unity Day. The Alexander Popov Sports School was represented by more than 50 pupils aged 9-10 years. The guys successfully coped with the tasks set by the coaches and gained important competitive experience.

The results of the starts were 10 medals won: 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze. I was especially pleased with the girls' performance. Elizaveta Larikova scored the highest score in the World Aquatics points system among girls for the 50 m Freestyle of a girl, while Margarita Yarkova took the second place for the 200 m Freestyle of a girl.
