Danila Oleynikov – twice "bronze" at the "Youth of Russia"

From December 4 to December 6, Chelyabinsk hosted the All-Russian swimming competition "Youth of Russia", which brought together more than 700 participants from 63 regions of our country. Danila Oleinikov, a graduate of the Alexander Popov School, performed as part of the Sverdlovsk Region team.

Following the results of the starts, Danila twice rose to the podium, winning bronze medals in the 4x50 m relay of complex swimming among boys and mixed teams. In addition, our athlete showed a decent result in individual 50 m freestyle swimming and entered the top ten swimmers with a score of 25.11seconds.

The competition was attended by the strongest swimmers among boys and girls aged 11-13, who were selected at the All-Russian sports competitions "Merry Dolphin"-2024.

It should be noted that according to the results of the Youth of Russia competition, the Sverdlovsk region took 3rd place in the team competition, losing only to the strongest teams of St. Petersburg and Moscow.
