In Russia, December 12 is a significant date for all its inhabitants. It was on this day, December 12, 1993, that the Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted by popular vote. Since then, Constitution Day has been considered one of the most significant public holidays in Russia.

The newest Constitution of Russia has defined the dynamic development of the state, incorporating the ideas and aspirations of the entire population.
