Kirill Prigoda's third silver medal

The winner of the race was Chinese Qin Haiyang (25.42 seconds). Prigoda lost to the Chinese by 0.14 seconds and shared second place with Turkey's Emre Sakci.

For Prigoda, this "silver" became the third in the individual heats in Budapest, previously he became the second in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke.

In total, Russian swimmers have won six gold medals (Lifintsev in the 50 and 100 m backstroke, Ilya Borodin in the 400 m complex, 4x50 and 4x100 m mixed combined relay, as well as the men's combined 4x100 m) and four silver medals (Prigoda in the 50, 100 and 200 m breaststroke, Evgeniya Chikunova in the 200 m breaststroke).

The Russians took second place in the unofficial team competition after the Americans, who won 39 awards, including 18 gold.
